BOOKING PROCEDURE:

  • Check ALL booking Details on the Booking Summary received
  • Advise Gondwana Booking Agent of incorrect booking details or changes immediately
  • It is the duty of the Purchaser to check the final Booking Summary
  • Payment strictly 72 Hours (3 days) after receipt of the Booking Summary, failing which, the booking will be deleted from the system automatically without prior notice.
  • The Status of the Booking Summary is PROVISIONAL and will only be converted to CONFIRMED, once the full Payment reflects on our Bank Statement.
  • Bookings are subject to availability at the time of the booking
  • Bookings made directly on arrival have to be paid in full at the facility (discounts for Card Holders applicable)

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:
+ 29 days prior to arrival: 10%
22 - 28 days prior to arrival: 20%
15 - 21 days prior to arrival: 30%
08 - 14 days prior to arrival: 50%
04 - 07 days prior to arrival: 75%
01 - 03 days prior to arrival: 90%

Terms & Conditions for Card Holders

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing this website you agree to be bound by the below terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change in our sole discretion of the Board. The Terms and conditions as published on the Website at the time of the booking shall apply.
Gondwana shall not be obliged to notify card holders of any amendments or change to the conditions.

 

GONDWANA CARD FEES:

  • The fees are relevant to all applications.
  • Lost, damaged or stolen cards will have to be re-applied and paid for.
  • Gondwana Cards reflect an expiry date from date of issue.(Valid for 5 years)
  • Temporary Cards are only valid for the duration of the work,- Visa Permit provided.
  • Adults (14 yrs older) – N$200,- per card – N$ 300 per card as from 1 November 2019
  • Children 6-13 yrs – N$ 100,- per card – N$ 150 per card as from 1 November 2019
  • Children 0-5 yrs – No Card required
  • Each Holder/Applicant needs to have their own Gondwana Card to qualify for the special rates

 

GONDWANA CARD INFORMATION:
On receipt of the confirmation email, cards will be forwarded to applicants as indicated under Step 5 of the application
Cards forwarded via NamPost will be at the risk of the Applicant and applicants shall be obliged at full costs to reapply in case of any card getting lost or damaged

 

GONDWANA CARD DISCOUNTS AND REFUNDS:

  • Cardholders only qualify for the discounts referred to herein if reservations and payments are made directly with Gondwana.
  • Rates and details as published on the Website on date of booking shall apply and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Prices relating to the bookings will be indicated during the booking process.
  • Discounts apply to: Accommodation and Breakfast only.
  • No discounts allowed for bookings made via any Tour operator, Travel Agent, Online Booking Platform (e.g. Booking.com, Expedia, AirBnB etc.).
  • No discounts will be granted on any bookings prior to the issue of the Gondwana Card.
  • No discounts will be granted on expired cards.
  • Refunds to be effected according to the cancellation policy.
  • Due to its already low prices Klein Aus Vista Camping will be the only exclusion.
  • Namibian Cards: Namibian citizens and residents: (aged 14 yrs and older)
  • 50% discount on accommodation (Bed and Breakfast)
  • 25% discount on dinner
  • 25% discount on activities
  • 50% discount on camping
  • 50% discount on Camping2Go (Self-Catering)
  • SADC Cards: SADC citizens and residents (aged 14 yrs and older)
  • 40% discount on accommodation (Bed and Breakfast)
  • 25% discount on dinner
  • 25% discount on activities
  • 40% discount on camping
  • 40% discount on Camping2Go (Self-Catering)

 

GENERAL:
The Gondwana Card may be used thought out the year at:

  • Any of the Gondwana Collection Namibia accommodation properties.
  • Exclusions – Klein Aus Vista camping and the Geisterschlucht Cabin.
  • The Gondwana Card is not transferrable and no rights shall be ceded.
  • The validity of card numbers will be verified in respect of all bookings.
  • Proof of payment and booking confirmation from Gondwana Collection Namibia shall be presented at check-in.
  • Upon arrival at the Accommodation facilities all the Cardholders included in the booking have to present their Membership Card together with positive proof of identification.

Operator Booking Terms & Conditions for Gondwana Collection Namibia (GCN)

Operator Payment Terms & Conditions for Gondwana Collection Namibia (GCN)
Tour Operators without Credit facilities:

  • Payment strictly 30 Days prior to guest arrival/ or per your payment agreement & terms, failing which the booking will be deleted from the system automatically
  • Last Minute Bookings made within the 30 day period require immediate payment within 48 hrs of time of booking, failing which the booking will be deleted from the
    system automatically

 

Tour Operators with Credit facilities:

  • Payments as per agreement

Operator Cancellation Policy Terms & Conditions for Gondwana Collection Namibia (GCN) prior to arrival – Obligation of the Operator
GCN reserves the right to impose the following cancellation fees:
+29 - 60 days: 10%
22 - 28 days: 20%
15 - 21 days: 30%
08 - 14 days: 50%
04 - 07 days: 75%
01 - 03 days: 90%

Operator Block booking Procedure Terms & Conditions for Gondwana Collection Namibia (GCN)
Group Bookings – prior to arrival:
90 Days: Update & update of sold rooms – release 50% of unsold rooms (GCN reserves the right to cancel 50% of unsold rooms)
60 Days: Final rooming list

Options available to Operators:
a) To hold 2 rooms on T.B.A. status until 30 days prior – 30 days automatic cancellation
b) No communication 60 days prior – GCN reserves the right to cancel the block-booking
We reserve the right to request a 10% non-refundable deposit on confirmation of a block booking with no booking history, which will be stated on the booking confirmation
If no other deposit schemes on block bookings were negotiated the following rule applies:
In case a provisional block booking stands in the way to finalize a confirmed booking of another client, we reserve the right to ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit on the amount of rooms being held or to release parts or the whole block booking.
The deposit needs to be paid within 7 (seven) working days in order to prevent the release of the block booking
